Wind Tunnel
Vertical skydiving tunnels have become an established part of the skydiving training process over recent times, and have become a safe and fun introduction to the sport for those who have yet to do it for real.
The wind tunnel exactly simulates the sensation of freefall, but you can fly just a few feet from the ground instead of many thousand feet up! In the UK there are currently 3 tunnels that are located in Manchester, Milton Keynes and Bedford.
Going in the wind tunnel is significantly cheaper than doing a skydive, as you get the equivalent of nearly three skydives for just £40! For this you get the required training, use of a jumpsuit and helmet, and the experience of floating on a bed of air!
