How to Join
Is it your dream to Skydive? Well it's time to stop talking about it and do it! Whether you're a Fresher, current UWE student or non student, ANYONE can join!
This is going to be the best opportunity you'll ever have to join a fantastic club, make some amazing friends and get into the awesome world of SKYDIVING!
Just follow these three easy steps below...

Every Wednesday night of the year we meet for drinks, have a laugh and watch some awesome footage of the clubs recent jumping on the large screen TVs. All sorts of socials are held here including 100 shot challenges, extreme sports nights and some very messy drinking games (in true SkydiveUWE style!) It can be very daunting to come and join a club, but all our members are great people and will make you feel very welcome. Click here for directions.
Next step is to fill in a simple form and pay your £20 membership fee.
It is compulsory that we ask for this, just have a look at what you get for it:
- Access to use club skydiving equipment
- Access to uni transport (minibuses etc)
- Entry into one of UWE's best clubs and into the awesome world of SKYDIVING!
- Some great club social nights out!
Next you need to get yourself down to Walkabout and sign up for one of our awesome jump courses which will set you well on your way to being a qualified skydiver. So far our club has seen over 80 people get licensed throughout the years and it's continuously growing.
The common misconception is that Skydiving is a hugely expensive sport, well check out the prices below - It's not the cost of a football but it's the most amazing and extreme thing that you'll ever do! There's no better opportunity than now when you're at uni, during some of the best years of your life!
There are of course many different means of getting qualified and SkydiveUWE offer huge discounts on normal prices to get you there:
RAPS First Jump Course - Normally £185, Club Price £150! (subsequent jumps only £22)
AFF Course - Normally £1,350, Club Price £950!
It's important to add that once qualified jumps from 10,000ft + will cost you as little as £20 each time (for full time students), that's why many of our members have well over 100 jumps!
